Refined from race to race this bike keeps getting faster. Our World Cup-winning DH bike is now offered as a mullet. Super agile and responsive in handling, the A.200 opens up more line choices than ever before. Whether you're on the racetrack or just having fun at the bike park you’re going to love this bike.
WHICH ONE'S FOR YOU?
A.200.1
Build 1, only the very best was good enough. This bike has 200mm travel and is designed to be ridden aggressively on the world’s toughest tracks, the parts we have chosen are all top-notch and selected by our team for strength and reliability.
A.200.2
Our A.200.2 downhill bike features componentry chosen for its quality and durability. Over 20 years of racing and riding some of the world's gnarliest trails we’ve learnt that confidence in your bike is key, and even the smallest parts need to be as tough as you are.
A.200 Frame
You’ll feel instantly at home as it dials down the volume of features enabling you to dial up the speed! Our team riders tell us that they feel super-confident on this agile and playful bike. Order 'Frame Only' to create your own Dream Build.
The A.200's carbon construction and complex DW6 suspension linkage has a brilliant mix of sensitivity and forgiveness in one hand, but in the other lies a supportive and robust bike. That's an elusive combination that I've yet to find in any other downhill bike.
Matt Beer, Pinkbike
The Atherton frame is covered in so many nice little touches, one of which is that the only threaded part of the frame is the bottom bracket. For the rest of the joints on the bike, it uses barrel nuts and standard fasteners.
Nick Bently, Pinkbike
Dream Build
We offer 12 sizes for a perfect physical fit and two standard builds. Each Build 1 component was chosen because we believe that it blows everything else out of the water whilst Build 2 is based on parts chosen for their rugged reliability. But there’s no pressure to settle for our favourites, use our standard builds as a great springboard for your own line-by-line specification.
A perfect fit can transform your ride experience so we offer more sizes than our competitors, from 410mm reach to 530mm as well as custom sizing options.
PORT-TO-PORT CABLE ROUTING
This approach offers a clean and sleek aesthetic, eradicates rattle and makes maintenance as easy as for an externally routed system.
NO THREADS, NO PROBLEM
The only threaded part on our bikes is the BB; for the rest, barrel nuts and standard fasteners mean you'll never have to hunt a custom part again!
DW6 KINEMATIC
Dave Weagle’s DW6 linkage and a custom-tuned shock provide outstanding small bump sensitivity, optimal ride height and a progressive kinematic.
CUSTOM CARBON TUBING
Our carbon tubing is custom-built for us to achieve the perfect balance of stiffness and compliance – meaning that your Atherton Bike will track the trail like no other.
DOWNTUBE PROTECTOR
Designed and manufactured in the UK using multi-jet fusion technologies, impacts are dampened and dispersed across a larger area.

FAQ's
What do you mean by custom fit?
Every Atherton Bike can be perfectly fitted for its rider through the combination of our fit calculator and additive manufacturing. We offer 22 standard so most riders should find a great fitting size for them. But if you are in between sizes or would like a bike specifically built for your measurements, we can match you to the millimetre.
How long is the wait between order and delivery?
We aim to have you out on the trails on your new Atherton Bike after 18 weeks. Each frame is bespoke and made to order, during this period you will be provide with photo updates so you can see your bike go through the manufacturing process and come to life.
As we all know, Covid has hit the entire bike industry hard with major shortages at all suppliers of components so please bear with us if your full bike build takes longer. The estimated delivery times on the website will be constantly reviewed so they’ll be as accurate as possible.
What spring rate should I use on my A.200?
We will always supply the best spring for you already installed. Tell us your weight and shock choice and we can determine what will work best!
Can I use an air shock?
We would recommend a coil shock for ultimate DH performance, but some air shocks are possible.
How much does the A.200 frame weigh?
With 12 different frame sizes weight can vary! But around 4.7kg with a coil shock and spring is typical.
Does the warranty cover racing?
Yes! Your A.200 has a lifetime warranty for all uses, including racing.
